Personally i like MicroB the best. Like others have sayed, Firefox is slow and I don't like the way Opera Zooms. And Opera also packs images low rez so they look much better on MicroB Also, MicroB is really fast.

You probably know that you can change operas zoom level from settings. I use 140%. But yeah it canīt zoom in like microb. But on the other hand when i use microb be the only zoom what i use is double click zoom. Maybe 5-10% of times when i zoom i use volume keys and almost never swirl zoom.

OK, but this don't change anything, a different nodeb provider, or just a different nodeb firmware can make the difference even on some speed networks.

The point is that we can't compare two n900, living in different countries and using different providers.

In the milesone case the increased battery life is confirmed by almost every user, worldwide, afaik this is not happened to n900.

I'm still read about mixed feelings, and my personal experience confirms.

BTW I'm glad you are happy with your n900.

    .

Maybe you don't need speed and decent cache management.

Yes, it has. Go see in the giant 4000? overclock thread. Pretty much everyone have felt a big improvement of battery. And that is all over the world. It is true build quality and such can differ a bit.. but if you tried to oc (and do it properly) we would probably not have this discussion.

Have to check out the configs to find out how to force a specific resolver.

But it's odd. Fennec doesn't have that issue, and the resolvers get set to good ones. Either my isp's if on wifi or t-mobile's. They should work fine. But I'll check it out. Thanks.
I just realized you can edit the gprs settings in the actual settings to pick a certain resolver.

Back to using microb lately. Haven't really noticed any change with using different resolvers. Both are fast.

    It's the default browser.

Microb has one *BIG* problem: lack of proper text reflow.
Other than that, it's great (for my purposes).

I think the answer to the topic question is starting to change. Probably the microB browser is still the best, but it's getting awfully close in comparison to Opera AND in comparison to the latest Firefoxes.

That Opera keyboard is totally cool, or hot, depending on your generation Or is that sick vs slick?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't microB add-ins still pretty much busted? I've been wanting to use Greasemonkey and Autopager or the equivalent, and I love Readibility, but I haven't been able to use Greasemonkey or Autopager with microB for ages. They work fine for Firefox.

In landscape it's not an issue really. But makes portrait not fun.
