i love photography so i am eying the n8
selling my n900 here in chile or perhaps in argentina - when looking at mercado libre (the equivalent of ebay) it seems i should receive about what i paid for the n900 in the states in december.

i don't think that nokia will spec the n9 meego device with a as good camera as the n8 but of course i am also looking forward to find out more about this specific device.

as long as it works but if something better appears after august, I'lll buy it asap. If nothing appears, I'll probably buy another N900

At least two more years. It does everything I want it to now, and I don't forsee my needs changing much. I might be eager to upgrade after the successor to the n9 is out, but that is a long way off.

Until a device with better hardware and an equal or better level of freedom comes along. If I have to "root" or "jailbreak" it, then I don't want it. Nothing quite compares to adding a repository and installing a package that grants me root access without a fight.
