puuuhhhh... good question.. I Think I've got 2 options: 1) for as long as it works or 2) until end of february 2012 - thats the time of my next contract "reset". Maybe I'll change my mobile then if there's a usable alternative (maybe 2nd gen Megoo devices) Until Then: oh well, let's wait and see...

This question looks as marketing research....
Anyway - as long as I can and till I find better product for my personal needs. I hope from Nokia, but who knows. ;-)))
But even I buy next or some of next meego devices I am planing to save my N900.

I'm liking it, now more than before due to software finally becoming stable.
I really care about linux and I want to support it, furthermore I'm scared about iOS and other operating systems controlling user like a slave.

I may change my n900 for something else but only for something like it and better, for example bigger screen. Looking at rumors I believe I will change for the successor but can't see any other brand respecting me as a customer.

Mine will be arriving in the next few days, i plan on keeping it for a long time, once i can afford it i might buy the successor if it's better in enough aspects and at least as good in everything else, but i'll probably still keep the N900 when that happens.

Well, considering how i bought my first N900 in April, sold it after 2 months, and bought it again just a few days ago, i'm not really sure how long i can keep holding to it.

I love it, but its price is just not worth it, when i first bought it, it was $900 NZD. I couldn't justify the spending as it was too much, so i sold it for $850, and bought it again for $600. Now this time, it's better for me and i definitely got more than my money back. But still, i wish it has more support. I've done so much to it already, overclocked to 1GHZ and did everything. I just want it to be more like the Iphone with apps etc.

Until it breaks and even after.

If the CPU is destroyed, I'll try to replace it with a new faster one.
If RAM breaks down, I'll try to add new larger RAM to it.

If the screen cracks, I'll try to replace it with new screen, using less energy, having higher resolution, more sensitive and easier to clean (capacitive and resistive at the same time would be interesting).

I will use whatever OS will be available and workable and supported. MeeGo or Minix, after Maemo 5 will not be supported.

I want it to be as durable as Ford, and even longer.

Aren't there some resistive screens that handle multitouch out there?
