Has anyone been able to install sliderotate along with the community SSU? Is it safe to do so? Is there an alternative to sliderotate? I like the rotate options, but I used it so much more before the SSU was installed because I could hit the power button to rotate, and of course the slide out keyboard to switch back to land scape. Is this possible with the SSU?

I don't know about the program, but opera does it perfectly fine for me.

If you shut the 810, it'll flip if you set the rotation to a certain way. You can just tap the settings icon, click settings, go to rotation and pick your way and it'll rotate (thats if you want a different orientation).
I'm sure you could code a small program to do it too.

Well I couldn't code it, but if someone knows how to bind commands to maybe the zoom buttons, it would be convenient. And WAY COOOL.

Well, I just tried opera's rotate stuff. If I set it to portrait, you were right, it rotates to landscape if I open the keyboard, then flips back to portrait when I close it. That's pretty much what I was looking for :P

Yeah, it's handy. Although using opera and checking with modest is annoying sometimes.
