I think I have seen similar thing happened to me after I installed some apps. I forget the name of the apps, though. Definitely remove greasemonkey if you have it, what other apps do you have?

Yea these scripts definitely mess with the scrolling.....

My browser does the kinetic scrolling after hundreds of tries. I have uninstalled bt hid scripts, reinstalled microb engine, cleared all private data, and still no luck. Help would be greatly appreciated, the browser does suck without kinetic scrolling

remove the patched mouse drivers. check ur app man. if u remove bt hid scripts, it wont remove the driver. so check app man and uninstall it.

Thanks a lot, it works like a charm Removing the driver inspired a reboot. I can't believe I neglected the remaining driver, and reinstalled microb for no reason
