It doesn't have anything besides 10.2010.19-1
I flashed the global firmware, if that helps.

there's the screenshot (i erased MAC addresses + IMEI)

I also attached my preinit BEFORE running any M32GB scripts (changed file extension from nothing to .doc so I can upload it)

And here is the preinit after running M32GBboot.sh, along with a screenshot of x-term

Seems like they're the same file, i.e. the script did not touch it as it doesn't see it as a PR1.2 preinit.

OK, I found the problem - kernel-power changes /sbin/preinit in a way which is NOT compatible with anything (actually I know now why kernel-power requires a special removal before return to a regular kernel - it fixes /sbin/preinit in incompatible with standard kernel way).

I will do a second checksum check and upload and write here. Wait 1h our so.

Here is a new set of scripts and it has newest M32GBboot.sh and it should take into account the kernel-power checksum.

But additional precaution - if you run this script AFTER kernel-power, then do NOT remove kernel-power until you run M32GBrm.sh - run M32GBrm.sh first. In other case you may get non-working UBIFS system after you remove kernel-power in right way.

I will fix a removal issue in more intelligent way later.

    EDIT: It is safe.

It created a bootmenu.sh going to test swapon/swapoff now.

Really appreciate you fixing it so quickly, thanks!

Short translation - you should wait until somebody rebuild a kernel.

But overall work volume is small - just fix configuration in right way and build kernel.

sadly this isn't working for me. I used boot scripts, but there is no dualboot. if i boot up my device with open keyboard the default system is booted. What can i do to get this working with my N900?

Besides this, could this script be used to get something like this: http://wiki.maemo.org/Booting_from_a_flash_card

I often run out of rootfs and want to improve the speed an battery life by using an external micro sd flash card.
