    This is absolutely great, works perfectly, even with OS X's built in VNC server. Much kudos.

    I have a couple feature requests though: lock the displayed area, so dragging doesn't scroll the canvas but just moves the cursor on the host. And now that I mention it... some sort of cursor on the phone would be nice to have too. :P

    Keep up the awesome work, it's great to see care for the interface specially when there is something (inferior) out already.

    Ah, I see.. Using -nomodtweak fixed the capital letters, but the Fn key still wasn't working correctly.

    Starting x11vnc with -modtweak -xkb works fine, though. Thanks very much for your help!

    Thanks for this great app. It performs much better than the VNC viewer app with nice little features like the touch dragging and the remembering of passwords. However I echo post #51 and request the other missing keys. Maybe a little popout menu next to the keyboard button.

    Many thanks

    I use RealVNC 4.5.4 x64 on Win7, and I have the following error when trying to connect using presencevnc:

    Code:
    ------------------- trying init ---------------------
    scaleResize():  636 476
    scaleResize():  0 0
    "VNC server supports protocol version 4.1 (viewer 3.8)"
    "We have 1 security types to read"
    "0) Received security type 5"
    "Selected Security Scheme 2010424"
    "Unknown authentication scheme from VNC server: 2010424"
    The connection never goes through. Any idea what's wrong?
    TIA

    Ah, finally got it to work. Encryption has to be set to anything other than "Always on".

    Any plan on supporting multiple monitors? (ability to select 1 monitor). I use dual monitors and they look so tiny on the phone. And also maybe zooming function?

    TIA

    Not directly, as the client doesn't get any information about what your monitor setup looks like.
    But I think having something like a zoom bar would probably help (continuous from "fit to screen" to 1:1, plus 2:1), you could then zoom in on one screen and scroll over to the other one.

    @mrsellout:
    0.5 will have a menu for additional keys (plus a few other keyboard fixes and local cursor), should be ready in a week or so

    Zoom in would be great because sometimes its hard to read if the applications on the vnc-server use small fonts.

    0.5 is in extras-devel, most important changes are:
    * Add "..." menu for additional keys
    * Add local cursor option
    * Symbol key (Fn+Ctrl) fixed
    * Don't start virtual keyboard with caps lock enabled (partial fix)
    * Add quality setting (per connection)

    I'm considering promoting this to extras-testing, if everything works out for you. Thanks again for the helpful feedback!
