As you can see by the pic I ran it X86 NOT ARMEL

I've have had a few ideas... I try to use Eazy Debian.. I know the source isnt open.. if im not mistaken you have to contact the creator.

Personally I cannot see what you are trying to do. The image is too small, so I can't read anything, and your title nor description doesn't help much either.

It looks like he (humble) got cave story running in X86 scratchbox. The problem is that we don't have the source code so we can't do an ARM port.

I think there was a port for the GP2x. You might try looking at that and see if there is any way to get that to work in ARM scratchbox. It would be best if you would seek out the original author and see if you could get his approval and possibly source code. Good luck.

Seriously folks, if you haven't played Cave Story you are missing out. This game is super fun, and would be perfect I think on the N900 given the hardware keyboard.

The developer might not pass out the source code though, and I can understand, this game was quite the work of labor and love. We can hope though right?

Yes, i have it in my GP2X, played flawlessly. I can send you the executable, if this can help, because i cannot find the source from nowhere.

well i found the guy that did it for linux here http://community.livejournal.com/doukutsu/101690.html

and a quick quote

"Here's the native Linux version of Cave Story. As I'm not allowed to release the source code there could be problems with certain distribution. Generally a standard Linux with libstdc++ 6.x and SDL 1.2 should be able to run it.
If not, talk about your problems. "

Reality is I have no experience in contacting a developer.
sure I found his e-mail address(and then...)

So I brought this here to bring attention to the community.(a cry for help)
I know there are some real intelligent members here. That know the workings of contacting and not only that but conversing with the dev to see if it's a go or no.

he says he has the source...

Although this is a little late:
http://nxengine.sourceforge.net/

They were able to port it on the dingoo using this open-source version of Cave Story.
