Is there anyway to disable the 3d-efect of rotating screen? It rotates much faster without it.

the effect is part of the gui.........you can't disable it

I'm not entirely sure I understand your question, but try tweaking your transitions.ini

and for "maemo5", if you think you can't alter the interface, then I think you're kind of missing the point of Linux.

i know that i can alter the interface but that way can destroy another things and kill the phone..........

you are missing the point here mate. yes it can kill the phone like lots of other thing we do to our N900...
We all decided to go for open linux platform just to have ability to "fiddle" with it. If i was afraid of trying new things and would like to stuck to what has been given to me by manufacturer i would buy crappy iphone.

Editing the transitions with Transition Control is easy. And you can disable the rotation animation
