    Blinker - Galaxy Tab - LED - Notification - CALL / SMS / MAIL
This is interesting... Apparently, there's an app that controls the capacitive button backlight for call/email/sms alerts!

    Here's a video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9gc7I5yaGEo

    This is REALLY cool!

Here's an interesting video of the Galaxy Tab performing a video call with traffic alerts running in the bacgkround on Bell Mobility (Canadian carrier).

Pretty impressive. It seems that the video is pretty fluid via 3G, though is only displayed one way.

Here's a video discussing some of the accessories:

He gushes about the keyboard as being extremely comfortable. I may have to consider this as an accessory that I purchase.

Also the official Samsung protective case features a material called d3o which stiffens/hardens on impact for increased protection. Here's the official d3o site:
    http://www.d3o.com/

Here's a video on AU discovery channel about d3o: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8EBWGbhsuws

Here's a video of someone being whacked on the head and knee with a shovel... Of course, there's d3o armour underneath:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9VDeJ...eature=related

Here's the official d3o/Galaxy Tab release:
    http://www.d3o.com/2010/11/samsung-chooses-d3o/

Very interesting. I think a case with this material would offer incredible protection for the Tab. It remains to be seen if the material covers the entire case, or just the rim.

Looking for a little OATH 2-factor security on your android device?! It's *almost* here:

    http://code.google.com/p/seek-for-an...pAuthenticator

This OTP Authenticator demonstration implements the common OATH for OTP generation. AFAIK amazon web services can use OATH for [more] secure access to your account. From the material, they've protected the seed, which is good.

Here's another OTP OATH generator called Androidtoken:

    http://code.google.com/p/androidtoken/

It seems to offer a PIN password protected seed, which is nice. It also supports event tokens and time tokens.

I can appreciate that software OTPs are less 'something you have' as information is very easy to replicate, but I'm glad that measures have been taken to protect the 'something you have' information with 'something you know' in the case of compromise.

Even with a software implemented token for OTP, it's much more secure than simply a password alone.

Very, very, nice! Plus it supports: iPhone, Android, Blackberry!

I've had that installed on my Droid for a few weeks now. Yep! Haven't found a use for it yet--but it's there.

That's great! Tell me something, how well does WiFi to 3G handoff work? I don't own a smartphone, and am curious about this feature.
