Hi,

I know this is properly an easy fix but i want to revert from my current overclock to the stock one of 600mhz. I followed the instructions from http://wiki.maemo.org/Kernel_Power#Deinstallation

However it says this when performing the first step:
E: Couldn't find package kernal

Any ideas or suggestions or somewhere that has the answer?

Btw i also havent been able to flash my n900 with maemo flasher 3.5 (phone or memory) it just says waiting for device to be connected but "n900 (update mode)" comes up in windows, dunno if its relevant.

Did you do "sudo gainroot" ? If yes, try downloading the package again. It could be a temporary issue.

/home/user # apt-get install --reinstall -y kernel kernel-flasher

You might want to run `apt-get -f install' to correct these:
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
easy-deb-chroot: Depends: murrinanightorange but it is not going to be installed
E: Unmet dependencies. Try 'apt-get -f install' with no packages (or specify a solution).

I had same problem and ran apt-get -f install. After this, I was able to use uninstall power kernel and reinstall nokia kernel.

For future reference, if you just want to stop overclocking, that's not a reason to uninstall the power kernel. Lots of people use that kernel without overclocking.
