i have activated 9 desktops installing modified hildon desktop package,but now i have another problem: how to put wallpapers on newly atevated desktops?

you need po put them in home/user/.backgrounds and rename it to background-5.png or whatever number desktop it is for, i use filebox to do it and it works great.

yep, widget safelist is at /etc/hildon-desktop
go to /usr/share/applications/hildon-home
for a list of your installed widgets

Didn't see you guys did a topic over here...
Well, that was my first approach in QT and QT Creator ever.... So at this stage I need some guidance...

If one with skills could help me out how to set up QTranslator properly I would implement it somehow, Also I would like to have an 'open picture dialog' but I don't have any knowledge about coding at all...

Any Help to learn is appreciated.

Here's the EASY way to put desktops on all the screens you just created:

Use Live Wallpaper!

You probably already know that Live Wallpaper gives you moving wallpaper in the background.

But did you know it has an option you can select in Settings for "One Theme in all views" and it works perfectly with all your desktops?

So you can have planes flying by, trains pulling in, or Matrices fluttering past with just a few clicks and nothing to figure out!

QFileDialog::getOpenFileName will open up a filedialog

Cool first app by the way, or at least first approach to Qt

I have no idea how to use system variables like home/desktop things in Qt/C++, but you somehow figured it out?

Also, Desktop+ brings additional design questions to my Wallpaeper app hahah

Does Desktop+ use .desktop files somehow?
