There are 2 posts, with different approach, successfully installed nitdroid on internal flash, reportedly running "10 X" faster, details here , looks like booting into nitdroid using internal flash is eminent . I have not tried it.... yet. read the article at your own risk

I wouldn't say 10x faster, but definitely faster (8GB class 6 @ 805Mhz vs Internal @ 700Mhz).
I'm all set with a separate partition on the internal memory for nitdroid (or perhaps MeeGo at some point). Should be easy to reinstall, just format the partition, and untar a new filesystem. Currently have 2 nitdroid boot options, sd or internal, both work. As long as you are familiar with flashing, and linux (I used Ubuntu and gparted), it wasn't too bad to set up.
How should I proceed? the Autoinstaller gets stuck also..
Can you read/write to your SD card under maemo? Maybe your card is damaged and becomes read only. Situation like that, I would
1) reformat under window into FAT32 and tried again,
2) or panasonic low level formatter (google download and install under window, then low level format your SD, that should work)
