@dewhoe: I think the answer lies in the very first post of this thread (get another beat2x binary and so on...)

@Andy1210: thank you very much for all your work here, much easier to play with. only one thing: in the menu/settings, w, a, s and d working like 'start' so one can not navigate down to choose another music pack - or at least at my n900 this doesn't work... anything I can do here?

Well, I got it to run...

I'm using PR 1.3 with kernel power. Ever since upgrading to PR 1.3 I've had warning messages about libsdl.

To get it to install, I had to remove mp-fremantle-002-pr. I was a little worried about that, but it seems to have installed okay.

I also had problems with the key mappings. Maybe I missed something, but apparently for me P is the enter key. WAXD is working, but I needed to set the settings to STITCH mode.

I'm still not very good at it.

I'm also interested in what it takes to convert a Stepmania pack to a Beat2x pack.

í haven't tried, but i think you can convert .sm files with this:
    Code:
    http://dl.openhandhelds.org/cgi-bin/gp2x.cgi?0,0,0,0,15,2726

It probably works, but im not sure. The updated version will overwrite the libsdl-mixer library with supported library. I hope it won't cause problems...
