When you restart N900 wih flight mode on you cannot get N900 started as it gets stuck between a restart process and option to turn on the flight mode on. For me a battery reset does not work even.

Is it just me or everybody is having this issue. I did manage to turn on the N900 with a very unrecommended way though.

I had this issue but I counted it for bug in my M32GB "Meamo 5 with root on /home partition" setup. Did you use M32GB scripts?

No I just tapped the screen around for a while when something made the popup disappear and got the startup move ahead but after the startup the tablet was behaving wierd like in accurate taps, undesired clicks, screen swipes freezing half way etc.

Anyways I managed to dial a number which again poped up an option to turn off the flight mode. i selected yes and restarted the phone right away which sorted out the problem.

considering being actually in a flight and my N900 being the only means to communicate with my airport pick up, it was a nightmare.

Any idea when we are going to have an actual update for this fix up? as this scenario is not usual and i can wait for the official update and be a little careful for a while using this option.

To be a little more techy, I used one of those test scenarios where "multi touch" (touching screen at multiple places with your fingers and rubbing around and clicking) confuses a single touch smart phone application making the application show an unexpected behaviour (mostly simulating an un desired click) which worked for me.

I do not have this problem and always use flight mode, since no sim card in mine. Just an M&M player for me (music and MAME).
