Which backup manager are you using?

Are you on power or nokia kernel?

Did you get the patched version of psfreedom.ko

pouf ive been trying to make this work for hours and hours and still no luck.,

i have placed the 3 files into the root. i executed em. ( stock kernal )
the.ko is patched also.
i install the manager ( the patched one to work with n900 ) + ( the stealth ) in the ps3 menu, i backup a game ( dj hero or Bad company 2 ), i then take the disk out, place another game into the tray.
i launch the Dj hero backup and it kicks me into xmb menu.
i checked the tray from there its still showing the org disk in it., and not dj hero.

what im i missing?

If Sony block me playing online etc (hasn't happened to me yet)

• Does that mean I won't be able to onto the internet on the ps3 etc
• Will I still be able to play ps3 games

Power kernel first, unpatched, i installed the stealth backup manager, didn't work, then the stock kernel, patched, and used the backup manager installed, didn't work.

Finally got it solved, installed the normal backup manager, now i'm trying to backup guitar hero metallica, hope it works

cd /psfreedom

and then type

ls

to check if your file is in there.

@jay92: nobody has made a gui but you dont really need one. the worst part is ssh-ing and thats fairly basic, once thats done youre

no i placed it in the folder root en there are 2 other maps in it gnome2 and pulse and3 other things like
bashrc
profile
pulse cookie

is this the right map??

i made it !!!
i put it in the folder home then user and put it there is working thax m8ts

ok new problem

i can make backups but when i load it and come back in the ps screen the origional game will be there and load the original and not my backup
