I?m getting a dingoo for christmas. Is there different types of dingoo? Do I need a specific one?I?m still sitting on the 3.41, does it work only from 3.41 or can I update to 3.50 while I wait?Sorry for all the questions, but I?m new with this.
what exactly is a dingoo? do you mean a dongle.
If you have an n900 or n800 you dont need a dongle,

the answer is no, if you updated and buy the game then it will work.
now i downloaded the Psfreedom n900 1.1, extracted the files to my /root directoy, and activated them with the terminal like:
chmod +x psfreedom-enable-maemo.sh
chmod +x psfreedom-disable-maemo.sh
/psfreedom-enable-maemo.sh
it jumps in servicemode again, but no install directories known from psfreedom0.5
do you mean there is no option to install packages on the ps3 when in service mode??
if so then that is ment to happen, service mode is used for downgrading NOT jailbreaking
no there is no option like that.
i know, i've got 2 ps3 here, one with 3.5, one with 3.41.
when i tried jb the 3.41 ps3 i downloaded the psfreedom0.6 from application manager. but it turns in service mode, not in jb mode. the led is green, so it shows it worked, but its like i want to downgrade it like the other one. i've deleted the files from mydocs and also thr files from the /root directory.(or do i have to put the 3files in there again to run the psfreedom0.6 fom app manager)?
so here it is
1. download the attached file.
2. extract it and do not bother reading the readme file.
3. uninstall any psfreedom(0.6 or other) from your n900.
4. plug in your USB cable, choose Mass storage mode and copy the 3 files in the zip file to the root of mass storage.
5. go to app manager and download rootsh
6. unplug USB cable
7. launch x terminal and type
sudo gainroot
cd MyDocs
sh psfreedom-enable-maemo.sh
8. plug in USB cable and connect to ps3
9. remove power cord, reconnect it and press power and immediately eject
here u r
So this brings the PS3 (3.50) in service mode?? but that
kernel of the Nokia N900?
