As of now,,places is not working in UK,,,but some body said here that they r able to use it in UK ,,but the suckiest part is,,it only runs on wifi

facebook places is defo working in the uk cause all of my friends have been updating where they are all week with there iphones, i downloaded maemo geo location & installed firefox & have tried it on the facebook touch site, my gps kicks in & picks up where i am on my wifi at home but whin i try to put it on facebook it comes up with an error saying something about the latitude & longitude has any1 had it working in the uk on there n900 yet?

ive been using barriosquare for a while, it does the same thing only better, as it posts a little map of your location to your FB feeds,
you need to join foursquare.com first
barriosquare has some issues but its been working perfect for me lately

Just tried firefox (fennec) 4 beta on my N900, Facebook Places checkin now works.

I notice adding new places on firefox is broken. When you add it, it shows an "[object]" on top of the page.
On microb, I can add new places properly, but checkin is still broken.

Who or what needs to be fixed for MicroB and facebook places to work? is it likely to happen?
