I mean for apps that support portrait mode, e.g. browser, call UI and other 3rd party apps, they now rotate to portrait mode better. Simple as that.
There will never be full portrait mode in Maemo 5.
Edit: Just to be clear yes I constantly use the transition.ini hack (radius=2, angle=0) and also swappolube tweak. But I did so in PR1.2 too. So it should be apple to apple.

What about portrait virtual keyboard did Nokia finally realise this is a feature that alot of people want. Not having protrait keyboard is the only thing i cant stand about this phone. I mean what the point of having a virtual keyboard in landscape mode, I might as well slide the screen and type on the physical keyboard, its more responsive. Having a virtual keyboard in landscape seem redudant to me, but then again I do use it. Guess I cant have everything.
Just had this email today from nokia....i personaly think it is a joke and i will not use the tweak plugin as all that does is trick the site into thinking i have flash 10.1....anyway here is the reply i got regarding flash 10.1
