I don't know about you guys - but I have plenty of games on my N900 that are ports, PrBoom (Doom), Quake 2/3, Duke Nukem 3D, DX1-Rebirth, Hexen 2, Jagged Alliance, Wargus, and Wolfestine 3D. If I could symlink the game data files to MyDocs or the SD card I could free up A LOT of space for applications. Those game data files are quite large. Is this possible, if so how?

I would rather do this then re-flash my device and repartition it, I don't have the time to set it up the way I like again.

At least the data of Hexen 2 and Jagged Alliance 2 can be placed to MyDocs without even symlinking (.hexen2/data1 and ja2data/Data).

symlinking might require ext3 fs to mydocs or sd so you'll be better off trying to configure games to use mydocs or sd in the first place.

I do not know how to reconfigure games such as Duke Nukem 3D to look into a different directory for the game data files. And yes Hexen 2 and JA2 are both in MyDocs (I was just listing off games with large data files).
