(Gross oversimplification follows.) Qt is a library that's helpful in writing applications for end users. It's not useful to end users directly, but it means that good applications can be written more quickly. Many Maemo applications use Qt "behind the scenes", and this new version of Qt is another developmental step along that path.
And to speak more technical, Qt gives the octopus (C++) that was made by nailing four additional legs to a dog (C) a nice full-body octopus disguise, so that it actually behaves like a good octopus, too, instead of just walk like one.
Oslo is haunted by floating heads! I suppose they're Qt floating heads at least.
Yes, the Berlin team has added the missing guys for the group shot in a less conspicuous way... but I must grin when I firstly saw those two guitar heros.
