Modest Crashes whenever screen is touched

I am using modest (I wish claws could run with LED and auto check without sucking huge amounts of memory). Modest crashes 100% of the time when I click anything on the screen.
I uninstalled and reinstalled it, deleted all my accounts (I used the Dpad) and it still crashes. Is there an apt-get purge I can do on it? I can only seem to do remove.

I fixed this on my dad's tablet by opening up a terminal and running:

    Code:
    mv .modest .modest-backup
And restarted modest. That fixed the problem for him.

In my dad's case, all the accounts were IMAP accounts, so he wasn't losing any e-mail or anything by doing that. If you have POP mail, I'm sure there's a way to recover it from that backup, but I haven't looked into it.
