ive read that its possible to re arrange apps editing

/opt/menu-update/category

i added this line in the category list

<Filename>swappolube.desktop</Filename>:Office

which ive done using leafpad. then copyed the file back using rooted midnight commander. but it has no effect? i ran the update config which comes with MyMenu to no prevail? even rebooted nothing

my "other" folder is getting full and i want to tidy it up a bit.

so if its possible can someone tell me what im doing wrong?

Hello,

i have MyMenu also installed.
When i want to change a app. to a different folder, i use FileBox to modify "category"

For example you want to move angrybirds to folder games

1) find the right .desktop file angrybirds.desktop wich is located at /usr/share/applications/hildon/

2) open witch Filebox the file category (edit) wich is located at /home/opt/menu-update/

3) add a line <Filename>angrybirds.desktop</Filename>:Spiele

4) save category when you're done

5) goto menu "system" run "menu-update", wait until it's finnished

Now angrybirds should be in folder games
