Well I'm not new to the N800, this is my second, but I've run across a problem I can't figure out.

I no longer have the option to turn off the wireless when I depress the power button, I only get;

Lock touch screen and keys
Lock device
Switch off

What have I done? It was there as little as a week ago. I mainly abuse this little computer by using it as an book reader(audio) and often carry it around, turning off the wireless doubles the run time.

Any help, originally posted in devices.

Thanks to the Community in advance.

Code:
 <menuitem priority="90" name="powerup_memainmenu_normalmode" visible="flight">
  <keyfile>/var/lib/mce/mode</keyfile>
  <return>2</return>
  <po>osso-powerup-shutdown</po>
 </menuitem>
 <menuitem priority="90" name="powerup_memainmenu_flightmode" visible="normal">
  <keyfile>/var/lib/mce/mode</keyfile>
  <return>3</return>
  <po>osso-powerup-shutdown</po>
 </menuitem>
Do you have that chunk of text in /etc/systemui/systemui.xml ?

Wifi is off when the statusbar icon is gray, flight mode just keeps apps from turning it on automatically.

while the wifi is idle when grey, i think it is still powered on. With flight mode it is fully powered off, as is often required by airlines.
