    They need it for developing apps using Qt 4.7 and its great eye-candy features, and you need it to run those apps.
    So it's a release for users, too, as its a requirement for running Qt 4.7 apps.

    yes if you enjoy hundreds of people running and shouting at panic, jamming tmo with constant f5 after asking silly questions.

    A Linux-based network traffic loadbalancer appliance.

    I've observed three nice changes:
    1 the yellow volume graphics (when turning sound up/down) does not seem to make the N900 stutter anymore
    2 portrait to landscape (and reverse) seems much snappier
    3 internet stations seems to work much better (less dropouts)

    Nokia tore up their operating system plans last week, doing away with Symbian v4 and going to shorter release cycles.
    One of the consequences is picking a single shared runtime across all their future smart phones. And that's QT4.7 (etc.), and honestly they'll stick with it for more than 6 months this time...
