Hi, i'm stuck on desktopgen with settlers, I'm using sudo gainroot, preenv, dir structure looks like this:

/home/user/com.game..../
Settlers (dir)
.pulse-cookie
appinfo.json
icon.png

error: /bin/sh: desktopgen: not found

As root in the xterm, type:
preenv (then hit the enter key)
desktopgen /home/user/com.game.../appinfo.json (then hit the enter key)

Thanks for the quick answer, but i got another problem now :S

'/home/user/com.game.../Settlers/Settlers' is not executable

FIXED: sudo gainroot
preenv
cd /home/user/com.game.../Settlers
chmod 755 Settlers
desktopgen /home/user/com.game.../appinfo.json

EDIT new error: settlers instantly closes on start...
any one knows why or how to fix this? thanks in advance....

Has anyone figured out how to save your progress in BrainChallenge?

EDIT: figured it out. Make 2 files

Code:

bc.sav
options.sav

in the folder .../brainchallenge/brainchallenge/
chmod 777 them

You can get past the point with the geologists simply select one - move him - then select another. Its not really a big deal.
