chmod 777 weboshd.sh

sh weboshd.sh

Then you will be able to play the new hd games, but you will have some problem with the old ones. So if you want to play the old games again, you will have to run the scrit again typing:

sudo gainroot

sh weboshd.sh

And if you wnat to play the hd games, just run the scrit again.

same result as the previous script(webos2hd) the game opens but closes after loading.( first screen: rovio.then fox.then angry birds rio loading....done.closes automatically)

any way , this is my try for various hd games :

Angry Birds Rio HD ------> works fine

Doodle Pool HD -----------> works fine

Slice It! HD -----------------> works fine

Quell HD --------------------> works fine

Galcon Fusion HD --------> works fine (onscreen buttons are very small but clickable , and the game is playable)

Shrek Karting HD ----------> crush at the begining

Sparkle HD -----------------> Segmentation Fault

Buka HD --------------------> Incorrect touch screen mapping

Need For Speed : Hot Pursiut HD ---------> missing textures (not playable)

Big Boss HD ---------------> dont work at all (no problems appear in the x-terminal)

I will try more games tomorrow

how did you run galcon?
as user it always crashes with segfault
it only runs with sudo gaintoot but sooo slow

any suggestions ?

Create a desktop icon with desktopgen and then it runs fine. Only noticed slowdowns if there are huge amounts of ships on screen.

please anyone help me..i want to playangrybirds rio hd..it crashes at loading screen,i also want bia 2 and modern combat sandstorm..i am crazy to play this games :P

to install Angry Birds Rio HD correctly follow these sterps

1- use libsdlpre-tab.so

2- extract ipk file and move game folder (com.rovio.angrybirdsriohd) to /home/user/applications/

3- type in X-terminal

Code:

cd /home/user/applications/com.rovio.angrybirdsriohd
chmod +rwx angrybirdsriohd
chown -R user:users /home/user/applications/com.rovio.angrybirdsriohd
preenv
desktopgen appinfo.json

4- run it from the Icon

bia2 and modern combat sandstorm arent released yet for touch pad (HD version)

it is the SD version (which is for phone) but scaled for touchpad , and when you run it using libsdlpre-tab.so it run with small screen , but when you run it with default libsdlpre.so it run with full screen an with limited touch ability (unplayable) , so we must wait for HD version of it
