try this:
sudo gainroot
cd /home/user/applications/com.com2us.sliceitpalmhd
chmod +rwx sliceit
chown -R user:users /home/user/applications/com.com2us.sliceitpalmhd/
preenv
desktopgen appinfo.json

should fix the problem

I had the same with AB rio HD and I've just change rwx permissions for the game file via WinSCP by myself. don't know why but chmod didn't do that

guys, is there any chance to make sth with ipa files? can I somehow extract angry bird from ipa and install on maemo?

no sorry its not possible. but what u can do is that fix the other ipk games which are nt working like brothers in arms 2, gangstar and sandstorm if u hav the skills.i hav been eagerly willing to help only if i had that much linux skill. but for ipa? not possible.its closed source.

I do that with ipk files but in ipa the updates are faster cause on apple than palm

what i did was:

sudo gainroot
cd /home/user/applications/com.com2us.sliceitpalmhd
chmod +rwx sliceit
chown -R user:users /home/user/applications/com.com2us.sliceitpalmhd/sliceit
preenv
desktopgen appinfo.json

this loaded the game until level select appeared
then i used:


then:sudo gainroot
cd /home/user/applications/com.com2us.sliceitpalmhd
chmod +rwx sliceit
chown -R user:users /home/user/applications/com.com2us.sliceitpalmhd/
preenv
desktopgen appinfo.json

then it worked fine
