1. Take a backup on device with the settings and list of applications installed. This will help restoring your settings back and re-installing applications

2. Note that OTA may not work for everyone so be prepared to using Ovi Suite for update and the file it downloads is over 100 MB not 80 as it says!

I know this is all obvious but some of the users have suffered due to Nokia's oversight to force backup (read ignorance)
