OK now I did the apt-get purge microb-engine and after that apt-get install microb-engine. Now it's in a constant reboot loop. Quite ironic. I'm going to flash it now.

GREAT!!!!!!!!!!! I should have read the entire thread before purging MicroB. Now my N900 is stuck in constant boot loop and I am at work and cannot reflash it. Grrrr....I hate learning lessons the hard way!!!!!!
All I wanted to do was access the Ovi Store........
*should have known better*
