Hi there,

I'm the new one ;-)

So I bought a 2nd hand Nokia 770 and I'm happy with it. Acutally testing etc.
Internetsurfing works realy good and speed is ok.

So I found a feature that I can lock the device with a Lockcode. Very nice feature but it doesn't work.

There is a counter (1/3) on my device counting the number of wrong codes.
12345 does NOT work, I also tried 0000 or 00000 but nothing.
Interesting: The counter stays still and always displays "1/3" but the device says "wrong code".

So preowner said he never used this feature and he didn't even know about that.

A little bit frustrated I drove to a Nokia Service Center and they saw a Nokia 770 for the first time - how could that be?
They didn't know how to fix this and wanted to send it in.

So is there any help to get the lock-feature working?

Thank you.

The "counter' is actually showing the stages in changing the code -1) enter old code, 2) enter new, 3) confirm new.

But 12345 is the default code, I think.
