when you install sysklogd and view the file /var/sys/syslog after a reboot, you can see that the USB on the Go drivers are loaded.. im not a geek so more then that i dont know about it.
i installed the update this morning in the train and rebooted my device (i always do that after i install updates) and now, its not booting anymore. There is a black screen with that linux pinguin and "U-Boot 2010.06-matan..."
It says:
In: vga
Out: vga
Err: vga
Getting NOLO supplied boot parameters...
Die ID #42da00240000000000403825e0601e01e
..."
then it loads the kernel and thats it. nothing happens and i cannt even start flashmode via u because it always comes to that screen
tried that with battery out, press u and battery in but doesnt work. the light flashes once shortly when i plug it to usb cable without battery but when i hold u and put battery in, nothing happens. i cannot enter the flashing mode
ok solved that problem.. my battery was empty and now that will be the next problem as i dont have any other "external" charger. i have a nokia xpressmusic as well but that wont load either.. and its from my gf so i cannot take her battery
tebsu: Like I suggested some other guy, go to one of them retailer stores with your laptop and n900, go down on your knees and ask them to either charge your battery for a couple of hours, or ask them to loan you a charged on from one of the demo phones. I think they'll be glad to help you out.
hmm dont know why but suddenly, my n900 started loading (after i plugged it in already for 20minutes) but thanks guys for the help. i guess i would still sit around and cry. you know.. its like when your girlfriend is not talking to you. very sad
