    Jaegermonkey for Firefox Mobile?

    Hello,
just upgraded to FF4 beta 7 on my old 2GHz Core-Duo 2GB notebook and the speed improvement ist fatastic thanks to the new jaegermonkey engine.
FF mobile on the N900 with javascript turned off runs great, but with JS on it's so damn slow. So, are there any news when Jaegermonkey will be integrated into FF mobile for Maemo?

    Thanks!

I dunno. I just can get over it that i find Opera quite much faster. Even when itīs loading page i can scroll smoothly. To me itīs not been possible to use any other mobile browser without getting frustrated in 5 secs after i have had my hand on Opera.

Judging by the answers, I guess the answer is "No. Not any news".
Interesting to you though, might be the fact that the previous Firefox Mobile alphas arrived on Maemo first.

While you wait, you should have ample time to test out
    - Opera 10
    - Chromium (Chrome, Webkit based browser)
    - Tear (Webkit based browser)
    - Midori (Webkit based browser)
    - Ice Weasel on Easy Debian (Fully featured Firefox Desktop version, on your N900 - which makes it slow)
