Well the 2x i bought have not been mesured, but they are the same as i bought a long time ago, they are from the seller oig.buy where i bought them before and tested them.

And they tested in at 1250mAh, and you wanted a cheap battery that holds over 1200mAh right?

modified bq27000.sh so that it displays VDQ when in LOOP mode...

    to install
(copy & paste {path} to get it to the right directory)
    Code:
    find /usr -name i2cget
    {path}/i2cget
    cp bq27000_vqd.txt {path}/bq27000_vdq.sh
    chmod 755 {path}/bq27000_vdq.sh
    to run & redirect output...
    Code:
    cd {path}
    bq27000_vdq.sh >>/media/mmc/bq27000_vdq.out
    bq27000_vdq.sh 60 >>/media/mmc/bq27000_vdq.out
will generate a file with content similar to

@estel, check out the galaxy note battery. 3.7v 2500mah, it will be a tight fit but maybe it's worth a try.

And "cells of different max capacity will get different SoC after same mAh used". But the smaller capacity battery is not giving as much currency as the bigger one, I think?

I am thinking of analogy of two water buckets, another one larger (mAh) than the other, but both have the same water level (voltage) and the level is at the same height (voltage). Both have same diameter (resistance) tube underneath going to the Y-connector and then the connecting tube is leaking water (current) out to somewhere.

I think, the buckets will be empty at the same time, and still no water is going from the larger bucket to the smaller one. (or there is an error in my thinking?)
Yes, you are right. But real life might be of another opinion
As long as the difference in capacity is not too high and their voltage is similar at the moment when you connect them, things should be fine. Of course both should have a similar internal resistance so that there won't be any voltage drop in one of them when the N900 draws power.
    Looking forward to dr_frost_dk's results
