and also to download games u can just search 4shared or megaupload, u write the name of the game and .ipk at the end
I don't know where else he posted this but the "bandwidth exceeded" tags are all over his web page. If he posted it here only then that would suggest that although we honor the idea of not downloading copyrighted stuff illegally we do not honor it in practice. This would be chilling to anyone considering developing a commercial application for our community.
I fully support not downloading copyrighted stuff without permission/payment. For example, I purchased a copy of one of the music videos on my N8 to put on my N900 because I am not going to delete it from the N8. One brother is a developer, my son is a coder, my uncle an author, another brother a musician, another uncle a photographer, my sister is a visual artist and author. Maybe it is because intellectual content production is a family trait that I am so in tune to this. I hope that the "bandwidth exceeded" issue on the linked site was not caused by our community.
