hey guys i recently got a n900 and i was playing around with it and accidently secure locked the device and seeing as it is a second hand phone i dont know the previous code and the default code isnt letting ive seen all these posts about flashing the phone but my computer is being gay and wont let me download whats needed i was wondering if u guys could give me some numbers that might work when i turn my phone on it comes up with enter lock code any ideas on any codes? thanks
You will need a linux based machine and install something called "John the Ripper". You the need to install something called rootsh from the N900 Application Manager. Once you have done these, go read the rest of the HOWTO at URL http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php...+ripper&page=3
