philly, you need to calm down mate. we have a lot of talented and helpful people here if you follow the basic procedures of this forum. It is expected for all to do a search of the issues they are facing so that they do not start threads and start "clogging" the forum with something already answered elsewhere.
My sincere advice is that you ask a question and be nice to people, even if they are nasty coz much of them have short tempers and get agitated quiet quickly especially if you dont follow things. So don't worry about it much.....just ignore the nasty comments and plz don't retaliate back coz you will be sort of "ganged" upon and just be nice. Not that you are not, but just trying to help you out mate.
