I have followed the steps you mentioned. The Phone is slow after that and when I check the Version of Android its 2.2.1...how to update it to 2.3 and it also give low space notifications.
1. Has anyone managed to move apps to SD card ?
FroYo (NITDroid 0.0.9) provide this as an option for many apps, but I have not manged to move any app - all give a failed to move error.
2. Also, has anyone tried Taking Tom Cat (or Santa) on NITDroid - I found that the play back audio on both would often fail by playing incredibly slow and at other times play fine.
root
cd /home/user/MyDocs
bzip2 -d gingerbread.tar.bz2
cd /home
mkdir /and
cd /
mount /home /and
cd /and
tar xvf /home/user/MyDocs/gingerbread.tar
dpkg -i /home/user/MyDocs/NITDroid-kernel-Mido.Fayad.deb
works pretty much same and have all my same settings and apps saved from 0.0.9
