I installed Gingerbread and think it's great. However, my rootfs got full. i decided to uninstall but still have only 2% free, after disabling catalogs and doing apt-get.
My /and directory is still there so wondering if that's it but rm command doesn't work.

As said on twitter, ofono is working as of a few days ago.

The file isn't in /home/user/MyDocs if you've downloaded it to the Documents folder.
do this and try again:
I am kinda new to these things which is better and more complete Nitdroid 0.0.9 OR Nitdroid Gingerbread?
According to e-eyes on twitter,
Gingerbread is now the mainline development (twitter jan 6 "#gingerbread will be mainline for #nitdroid development. THEY FIXED STRACE!!! ")
So, 0.0.9 will stay "as is". I would recommend gb althought it is still in experimental phase. Also, as said earlier, it appears that the ofono API is working now.
Well, they didn't precisely said voice calls , but the ofono API is use d for Voice calls, SMS, Cell Broadcast, Supplementary Services and SIM Phonebooks, among others

Ive got a little question about installing to emmc.
Is it possible to create a partition out of the internal memory so that if I choose to remove nitdroid it wont affect the maemo part of my system?
Last time I installed nitdroid 0.0.9 and put Gingerbread on top of it, then tried putting 0.0.9 over THAT again and so forth it all went to ****, and wobbling around in xterm trying to red myself of nitdroid completely for a fresh install was pure hell and led to reflashing the entire emmc and fw =P .
So thus Im wondering if there is a way to test this out some way that would make removal clean and easy?
