hi guys, i installed nitdroid but while my phone is on nitdroid he overclocks himself to 1150mhz, but i used setcpu stability test and he reboots after some time, so i assume he is not stable. Do you think that its necessary overclock to run nitdroid properly ?
ANd is there any way (besides setcpu) to cancel the overclock ?
Thanks
i installed nitdroid n12 fine with update only (without kernel)
and my n900 was booting up and showing 2 options (1 for maemo, 1 for nitdroid with old kernel) and both ran fine.
Then i tried adding the new kernel to make n12 run a bit smoother with:
sudo gainroot
cd /
mount /home /and
dpkg -i /home/user/MyDocs/nitdroid-kernel-2.6.28-07_rc3_armel.deb
at first after rebooting the phone fired up with all 3 options and i selected new nitdroid kernel then screen went blank and now when i reboot the device nokia stays on screen for about 10 secs and white light stays on then just turns itself off?
any advice to get my device to boot up again is very much appreciated, thanks in advance
*EDIT* i decided to flash my device as i found it would be the easiest option in this case! i may just wait for nitdroid n13 now lol
i tried again to install nitdroid n12 with the new power kernel and same thing happened even though i started from fresh so im guessing theres a problem with this kernel?
flashed it again and im going to try now with the old kernel again
