oohhh you're right! It worked. I'll try to be more careful..but why is it that when I typed
root
cd /home/user/MyDocs
bzip2 -d NITDroid-0.0.9.tar.bz2
it says bzip2: Can't open input file NITDroid-0.0.9.tar.bz2: No such file or directory...I'm soo sorry. I'm fairly new at this....
Obviously, your file must be something other than NITDroid-0.0.9.tar.bz2.
For example, here there is another file, i.e. bzip2 -d N12_UMay.tar.bz2.
So, please check the wiki as it allows a very slim margin for error.
i still need help =( i cant figure out why all my downloads on stuck on "starting download" ??
I'm stuck with the same problem.. does anyone know a fix for this?
In addition I noticed that the games are lagging since the problem with downloading happened..
Hi, I got NITDroid N12 installed and running (it's so smooth!) and I have to say that it's brilliant! Much better than previous releases (the last version I used was Gingerbread).
I do have one issue though and that is my WI-FI. I'm trying to connect to my router but I always get stuck at "Obtaining IP Address" and nothing ever happens afterwards.. so I'm unable to connect to the internet using WI-FI.
Any help would be appreciated!
EDIT: I managed to fix it! I disabled and re-enabled DHCP on my router and it appears to work now. I can connect via WI-FI.
Is there a way to make the n900 skip the bootmenu and boot straight into Maemo by default, then booting into android when certain keys are held upon startup?
OoOps, sorry I've been heavily stressed out last month, exams, travelling...haven't had much time.
However, I don't exactly nderstand you're problem, can you try some other kernel?
