Option C, the installer bails before even trying to download anything else.

I've got the N12 bz2 in .nitdroid along with the rc7 kernal.deb. Going to clear out everything in the .nitdroid directory and try again.
I will reflash my N900 and debug the installer all over.

I put .bz2 file in /home/user/MyDocs/ and install using autoinstaller 2.8.8 at the end of installation it found bz2 file from it and works proper. fianlly I installed android on emmc. so I had to edit that multiboot.d's item file using leafpad.

but problem is that android is resarting at some interval and after restart sometime it stuck on the android screen and sometime boots proper. can some one guide me how to solve it ?

How can I create the .nitdroid folder ?

When I go to "File Manager" and create a new folder and name it nitdroid, it will only give me: home/user/Mydocs/nitdroid ((and not .nitdroid)).
So if I want to get : home/user/Mydocs/.nitdroid how can I make that?

    Checking directories ...
Error: Directory jam, run the un-installer to fix, bailing

IIRC (from the time I was restarting from a botched install) it is because when the installer starts checking the directories it is already finding an existing /and file when it tries to create a new one.

I found that deleting the existing /and file allowed Nitroid installer to create the new folder and continue the installation.
