That's the command I used to install maemodder and I described the result in my previous post.

I don't think this will solve the problem... o.O
But ... try ! xD
i raccomend you the dependencies

apt-get remove --purge maemodder
rm -r /opt/MaeModder
apt-get install zenity python python-osso python-gtk2
dpkg -i /patch/to/maemodder ecc ecc . . .

The second command (rm) is only to be sure
Let me know if you solve

@swi .. i've never heard that error ... o.o ...
Try to remove the program (the commands just reported) and reinstall it...
But this time post the whole xterminal output after the reinstallation

i tried and it's showing as " unpacking maemodder (from . . . ,/MyDocs/maemodder_0.8_all.deb)
...
setting up maemodder (0.8) ...
/home/user #
