Funny enough, I never got this... Of course, I don't do 'heavy' copy/uncompress.
I'm actually curious, what specifically do you do when the reboots happen, usually?
like trying to uncompress a fedora image for chroot or copying the uncompressed (finally done on a pc) image to image.orig so I could have a backup. or running easy debian and trying to install updates via apt-get update && apt-get upgrade.
Why would Nokia realease a firmware now when meego 1.2 is not due until April? It almost seems this post has been delayed somewhere and it was meant to be released when PR1.3 was about to be released.
Anybody know what the PushN900 team is and whether this guy still works on it?
Just hope it fixes reboots introduced in 1.3 when doing heavy copy/uncompress.
Actually I'm having the same issue when restoring or backing up partitions or image files with dd= if= command...
Restoring my complete /home/* from sd card failed the same way.
Only way to get it working properly was to boot into recovery mode, enable usb hostmode and then using xterminal on my linux machine.
(if anyone is interested in How to do so, see solution #6 in the *Repartitioning the internal memory* guide in the Wiki)
