Capacitive screen is a complete no-go for me...
Resistive resistive resistive. In fact, you could say i'm resistive toward capacitive!

I don't care. As long as it has proper Ovi integration I will buy it, and if it doesn't I will not. Seriously, Ovi is like a hot babe with big tasty boobs you just have to suck on. Gadgets and specs is one thing, but boobs beat gadgets any time of the day

You know, with the talented community we've got behind us, I bet we'd be able to design and create our own N900v2 (similar to what the guys with Open Pandora did); the hardware is out there. the operating system is ready and waiting, and we've learnt a thing or two from Nokia's mistakes.

It'd be pricey, but I'd sure buy one.

Android has an overclocking application named SetCpu which requires the user to root and install a custom kernel.

Also, I don't think I've seen one report of a dead N900 due to overclocking.

I'm starting to feel the same exact way about Nokia phones. And Linus does matter... how else would you use Maemo and EasyDebian on your beloved N900?

Really, to continue my previous comment, what will be the future of NITs if they have capacitive screen and no stylus integrated? Or is there going to be an active stylus still included in some hole?

Right now it would be very difficult to use some of the applications without stylus, especially all easy debian / fedora stuff.

I'd much rather have multitouch resistive screen than capacitive one.
