    Arrange apps Alphabetically?

    Hi guys,

Say I want to arrange my applications in simple alphabetical order, is there a simple way to do this, and make sure that even when I install new apps the new ones get inserted n the correct place, or is the only way to drag them about individually?

I don't need to sort them into folders or anything like that, just a simple alphabetical list would serve me grand.

Any suggestions? Seems to me that a lot of the thread I found using the search tool were just discussing how to put stuff in folders, and nothing about simply putting them in order.

You would need to edit a specific file there... I forgot the name >.<
Oh! It's hildon.menu! You sort it out manually cause the n900's autosort for menu supports only sorting of applications and not folders since it wasn't supposed to be implemented.

    install catorise.

edit: this won't just sort them, it arranges your apps by category rather than folders, looks much better than the default arrangement, and you can always choose "all" instead of a category to show all apps, automatically alphabetised.

Hmm, any way of doing it so that I don't have to tap twice to get into the "All" category (when using Catorize)? Seems a little superfluous.
