Hi i recently brought a N800 and downloaded a version of java (please don't ask me which version) i thought may have been compatable with the tablet. (i did this to allow for the internet streaming of data to work)
My problem is that nothing seems to have happened, the java downloaded fine but i'm still not able to recieve streamed dated.

What i would like to know is:

Is there anyway to return the N800 to its original factory default (eg remove the java i downloaded, as it doesnot show on the tablet as new downloaded program)

I have checked the on-line manual but it doesnot seem to suggest that a full factory restore is available.

Please help.

Thanks, Indiana

There is no Java engine for the N800, so whatever you downloaded may have done lots of things, but install it did not.

In any case, unless you used the flasher utility, the downloaded files should be in user space and accessable from a terminal or an advanced file manager.

Happy hunting...
