FP125: ok, i can't understand what you can't understand ...
let's try following steps
1) copy game images with name game.bin to /home/user/MyDocs(when connect your n900 to PC it's just something like N:\ | /mnt/n900/ | /media/n900 (aprox. 28gb drive))
2) open psx4m-gui
3) tap title -> gui config -> rom directory
4) select Nokia N900(or bluetooth name) that at top of dialog, right from up directed arrow
5) tap above dialog to close it
6) close application psx4m-gui by clicking X in upper-right corner of screen
7) reopen psx4m-gui
8) you should be able to see game.bin bellow title bar
...
I copied the game images to my PS1 folder and into the MyDocs root of the phone - emulator will not detect any. I had an ISO file and a .bin file - neither recognised. It shows folders but not the items inside them.
Also my bios is not recognised - worked fine with previous emulator.
Hi, thanks for next great release for maemo. I ghave little problem. Emu doesnt remember settings of file of bios and frameskip type. Is anything bad by me or it is global ?
This happens to me too, but it's such a small problem that I don't care. Again, great emulator.
Got a bit further now and managed to get a game to run - just need to have a fiddle with the settings to make it run at an ok speed.
I deleted all my repositories, rebooted my phone and then installed them again. I was then able to install psx4m-gui straight from App Manager rather than through xterminal
But I have one little problem with key configuring in the GUI. When I try to open the key configurator, it says "Couldn't open previous key config", and gives "done" button. When I press it, the configurator opens, but all keys are just pointing "0". You can change them as you want, but when trying to save the configuration, it says "Something goes wrong, check permission to keys file"
~phoenix~: emu doesn't understand relative path to game : use something like /home/user/MyDocs/game.bin
also where you found manual with -runbois switch ???
and third, why you can't use psx4m-gui ?
FP125:
there is no option to select Game Image, Only option to select where psx4m-gui should try to find games (doesn't support subdirectories)
tap title -> GUI config -> Rom directory
all games from that directory must be shown in game list, where you can select one game and push start button bellow game list...
impeham: create log(take a look to first post for how-to) with pcsx-rearmed core, frameskip-off, fullscreen-on, threaded sound-off,hwa-gpu-off and send me link(if i can't do something i will resend it to Notaz)
Bonapart - i didn't understand how to put the debug info in that site so i'll post here:
