i created the sstates folder as sugested and set permissions and now save states work yay im not getting any screen shot but all slots apear to work so woohoo thank you

Hi, first I want to thank you for these developments.
Now, I didn't really used this a lot, I've just got one img: Spyro the Dragon 3. I liked this game when I was young :P
It used to work extremely well with PCSX-ReArmed (and slow with psx4m and it didn't with psx4m-gles), but I didn't notice when (since which version) it stopped working.
It loads the "trainer/crack" program for cheats, and shows sony, universal and Insomniac screens but then it simply closes the window, when it should display the actual intro. I have tried every combination of settings from GUI and the result is always the same. When launched from terminal (psx4m-gui) it doesn't even provide any (useful) info neither reports the crash. When loaded directly it throws this:
(ie, here at least reports the Segmentation fault).
I don't have any Idea what could be wrong...
Somebody could help me find what's going on?

bonapart, it seems that i have 3 locations for the .pcsx folder:
/home/user/.pcsx
/.pcsx
/opt/maemo/usr/games/.pcsx

the save states are now saved to /.pcsx/sstates (why is this folder in root?)

next update will have small changes in keyboard(psx4m,pcsx) , maybe gles in pcsx, sstates in psx4m like pcsx(with slot+ and slot- key, screenshot)
i hope it will be next weekend
