We can re-brand your beloved N900 as the new N9 and preinstall it with MeeGo v1.1!!
I would get it, never mind the colour: black, white, bright pink, poisonous green, gloomy brown, alarming orange, dangerous red, light yellow, sky blue, dark navy, stars and stripes, whatever.
Just put wholly open-source operating system pre-installed on it,
and don't forget QWERTY keyboard and 5MPx camera and ability to work like phone (2G is enough) and GPS antenna and of course 32GB storage and microSD slot.
EDIT: You can let accelerometer out, I will switch between four orientations manually as MeeGo should be able to rotate into any of them.
And you can let ambient sensor out, I will regulate screen's brightness and keyboard back-light manually through software, just like sound volume.
The Intel Aava isn't a secret, and I'm pretty sure it's not under an NDA.
It's a developer's kit, be ready to fork out $2000 (yes, for real) if you find it on sale.
Update 25 Dec: We are afraid we've got some bad news for you - apparently the device pictured is nothing else but the Ericsson U8500 reference platform. Now move along, there's nothing to see here.
